SPRING SEASON CONCERT ANNOUNCED!

The concert for New River Youth Symphony, Chorus, and Beginner Chorus will take place at United Methodist Temple in Beckley, West Virginia, at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 20, 2013.

SPRING SEASON IN FULL SWING

Rehearsals will take place at Oak Hill High School* every Monday evening from March 4 - May 20, except April 1 (Spring Break.) Regular Monday rehearsals for Chorus and Beginnner Chorus are at 5:45-7:00 pm and for Symphony at 7:00-8:30 pm.

*Directions to Oak Hill High School:

From the South (Beckley) on Route 19, take the Oyler Exit, turn left, cross over the highway and stay to the right until you get to Oak Hill High School.

From the North (Summersville) on Route 19, take the Oyler Exit, turn right, and stay to the right until you get to Oak Hill High School.

Young instrumentalists and vocalists enjoy the opportunity to make music together and perform in the New River Youth Symphony and Chorus (NRYSC).

The directors, William Bailey and Judith Arnold, are gifted musicians and respected educators who share their passion for music with the students and inspire them to pursue excellence.
