The New River Youth Symphony & Chorus will present their Winter 2024 Concert at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church* in Prosperity, WV. Performing groups are the Children's Chorus, Emerging Strings, Youth Chorus, and Youth Symphony.

Going south from Crossroads Mall, go to the light at Prosperity Road, turn right, and go one mile. The church will be on your left.

Going north from Golden Corral in Beckley, go two miles to the green water tower at Prosperity Road, turn left, and go one mile. The church will be on your right.

Children's Chorus will meet at Fayetteville Christ Fellowship Church** for rehearsal at 6:00-7:00 pm on Mondays throughout the season, except for Thanksgiving week. The first rehearsal will be on Monday, September 16. The director of the Children's Chorus is Kathie Kiser.

The new season will begin on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church* in Prosperity. The Youth Chorus rehearsal is at 5:30-6:45 pm, and the Youth Symphony rehearsal will follow at 6:50-8:15 pm. Regular Monday rehearsals for Youth Chorus and Youth Symphony will continue throughout the season, except for Thanksgiving week.

Children's Chorus and Emerging Strings will meet at Fayetteville Christ Fellowship Church** for rehearsal on Mondays throughout the season, except for Thanksgiving week. The first rehearsal will be on Monday, September 16. Emerging Strings will rehearse at 5:30-6:30 pm, and Children's Chorus will rehearse at 6:00-7:00 pm.

For new and returning students for the Youth Symphony, audition music and scale / rudiment to practice for your audition is posted in the Latest News section of each webpage. All New River Youth Symphony members will audition for seating for the fall season.
